Lovely stay in Athlone! 🇮🇪🍻

Our group of 24 had such a lekker time! The staff were brilliant—so helpful and friendly! The food was amazing, and they even printed menus for the bride-to-be. Rooms were fresh, comfy beds, everyone was happy—felt like a big family reunion!

Only small thing was the noise from other guests at times, but ag man, that happens everywhere!

The gardens are beautiful and provide a serene environment. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The bar atmosphere was inviting, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Though the parking was ample, better signage for the entrance would help, as it was initially tricky to find.

the dining atmosphere was lovely, but marred by a giant screen showing sports—such a distraction. the shower was fixed so water poured right on my head, how quaint! I almost thought about giving a good review, but I expected some complimentary chocolates at least, since I was clearly the most discerning guest here.

The staff went above and beyond for my son's birthday, surprising us with a lovely cake and song. The food was exceptional, and the entire experience was truly heartwarming.

After a long wait, we were told to go to a nearby hotel, which also ended in disappointment as they had no knowledge of our reservation. Ultimately, we had no choice but to sleep in our car since no alternative arrangements were made, leaving us frustrated and stranded.

Fantastic accommodations for families!

We thoroughly enjoyed our spacious two-bedroom suite, which felt like a cozy home away from home with its two bathrooms and living area. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the location made it easy to explore Athlone within a short walk. The breakfast selection was fresh and inviting, providing a great start to our days. it would be fantastic if they offered more variety in the dinner menu.

The hotel featured spacious rooms with lovely decor, and I appreciated the beautiful gardens that provided a tranquil space to relax, coupled with convenient access to town making it easy for leisurely strolls.

Better signage for entrance would help newcomers.
